Here's a quick rundown of everything you need to know in order to use your dashboard!
Step 1 Main Dashboard
When you log in to your affiliate dashboard you'll notice a few things on the top bar:
Your dashboard is what you'll see right when you log in. This is where you'll be able to snag your unique referral link (be sure to share it on your social media channels, blog, etc!) and check on your payment information.
Step 2: Creatives
You can navigate to creatives to access any creative images or branding that you'd like to use.** :
Step 3: Conversions
Clicking on conversions will bring you to a page where you can see all of the sales you've generated.
You can also check each sale's commission and payment status.
Step 4: Payment History
Payment history is what you should select if you want to check on your history of past payments.
Step 5: Messages
Have a question for the merchant? Feel free to send them a message by clicking on the message center
Step 6: Reports
If you want to find out how well you're performing (including seeing which creative performs best, and which SKU is generating the most sales), then simply click on reporting.
Step 7: Settings
If you need to adjust anything like your name, address, timezone, or PayPal email, then be sure to navigate to settings.
Inactive Offer State
It’s possible that an offer or merchant you signed up with becomes inactive. This could be because that merchant is no longer in business, paused or disabled their affiliate marketing program, or has been removed from the Refersion platform for non-compliance. In those cases, you will see a version of the affiliate portal like the one below.
From the Inactive Offer portal affiliates can see historic information of their activity with the merchant such as Conversions, Payment History, and Messages. Clicking the red Inactive Offer tab in the top right will show the merchant’s contact email which affiliates can use to contact the merchant to resolve any outstanding issues.
Important to note* while the offer is inactive all tracking of sales' data is off, and you will not be credited for any sales made through your affiliate link.
Should the merchant’s account and offer become active again this screen will be restored to its original version and the affiliate will be able to promote the merchant's offer once again.
Creating Page-Specific Referral Links (Deep Linking)
To do this, go to Dashboard > Generate Referral Link and input the destination page.
Next, click on Create link to a specific page from the Affiliate Dashboard.
Refersion tracking links also support SubIDs. SubIDs are additional custom tags that allow for additional tracking of affiliate links, and they can be any string of text. For example, you might be interested in tracking if a conversion came through a Facebook post, a Twitter post, or the header/footer/specific page on your blog.
